This publication was created as a basic textbook of radiology for medical students. The intention of the authors was to provide information about radiology with which the student will become acquainted during the entire course of study, and will thus return to the book on a regular basis. The publication can also be recommended to beginning radiologists to review their basic knowledge. Because nuclear medicine is a separate subject in the Czech Republic, the book contains information about nuclear medicine only marginally.
