The development of inclusion and inclusive practice in the Czech Republic is largely unknown outside the country. Like many other European countries, however, the Czech Republic purports to be moving towards a more inclusive educational system. This research specifi cally looks at the role of the school leader in developing inclusive attitudes and practices towards students with SEN in this central European country. Two questionnaires were used to determine at the attitudes of school principals towards students with SEN and b) the inclusive practices adopted by school principals to support the development of inclusive education.
